My thing is really simplicity – uncomplicated and easy to make. Let natural flavors give that sensational feeling about eating and enjoying food that makes you feel so good. I have a thing for licorice and always had. Blood orange and banana ice cream with licorice speaks right to my heart 😉  Sharing this easy peasy one minute breakfast dish or snack/dessert – whatever your preferences are ; ) Enjoy.

Serves 1

  • two frozen or one really large banana/s (sliced before putting the bananas in the freezer)
  • 5 tbs of coconut cream
  • 1 teaspoon of natural licorice powder
  • 2 tbs fresh squeezed blood orange juice

Put all ingredients in a mini-blender on full speed until you have a smooth wonderful ice cream consistency.

I served my ice cream on a bed of sliced blood orange, walnuts and bee pollen.

    1. Natural Licorice powder is so great Karen – if you like licorice? 😊 Swedes or Scandinavians are crazy about their licorice ha ha 😋 okay, far from everyone but I sure love it. 😍 to add a bit in a chilli or other dishes gives a great sort of sweet and delicious flavor and not to meant ion desserts. Let me know if you want me to buy some for you and send it to you? I would be happy to.
