Berry, avocado, maca and pumpkin seed smoothie



Four boys to feed in the house this morning. Winter break and more relaxed routines and mom said it was okay with a sleep over. My big boy is turning eight years old today and I promised them cake after breakfast BUT under the condition that this smoothie should be gone before any cake was served. : )

This smoothie is great to “hide” lots of good ingredients that are not visible for picky and sensitive eaters ; )

Serves two big glasses or four smaller sized smoothies

  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 2 frozen bananas (frozen in smaller pieces)
  • a smal handful of fresh blueberries
  • 1/2 avocado
  • a smal handful of soaked pumpkin seeds
  • 2 fresh squeezed oranges (juice only)
  • 1/2 cup full fat coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1 tbs maca powder
    Blend/mix all ingredients and serve.
