A quick update of a simple avocado smoothie that I make from time to time. This one serves mostly as a breakfast smoothie but today it ended up as a simple lunch with some grain free bread. I always have some bananas in the freezer, which is great for making a refreshing cold smoothie. I also prefer enjoying a smoothie (with a thicker consistency) with a spoon from a bowl with plenty of topping. ; ) As I said before – here will be all kinds of dishes shared – really simple ones and others demanding a bit more time and patience. ; ) So here´s a super simple one… Enjoy!
AVOCADO SMOOTHIE Serves 1
- 1 large banana frozen (in pieces)
- 1 avocado
- 1/3 cup almond milk
- a big handful of lamb´s lettuce
- topping; one passion fruit, pecan nuts, pomegranate seeds, mint and physalis fruit.Blend/mix all ingredients for the smoothie and serve with the topping. As side dish I ate grain free nut bread with mashed avocado and passion fruit.
